I've yet to get behind the mobile games as legitimate gaming platforms, especially ones that have a pay-to-play background on them but thought...eh why not....I probably spend more time gaming on my phone than I do on consoles at this point sadly enough (minus Animal Crossing for the time being). With that being said, what are some of the mobile games that you've played that have been worth it?
My current go-to time waster is "Hero Wars" It's a simple character leveling journey the map endless rounds of fighting the same creatures over and over again. There are a good number of dailies that have to be done which get boring though they at least keep it challenging by raising the enemies levels along with you in some aspects. Otherwise, it's just going through repeat levels to get items to help you further level up your characters. There are guilds that you can create/join to battle among other guilds during the wars which provide you better items and you also have a guild area where you can acquire and earn "Titans" that help defend the various aspects of your guild during the wars.
It's a pay-2-play scenario and I think over the past 8 months...I guess it's been...I've spent maybe 10 bucks and that was all in Google Survey money.
Before that, one that I was playing a bit more frequently was Eternium. Lost interest in it when I fell into Portal Knights which was another great timewaster. Portal Knights was basically a better graphically skinned minecraft and was on multiple platforms (my favorite version being PS4 for ease of building). If you like building whatever the hell you want....this is a solid and fun game.
Stardew Valley is another one that we bought (came with our Google Play subscription) that I've wasted a bunch of time on. This Harvest Moon style game plays pretty much the same way. Farm, tend, raise, and find a boyfriend/girlfriend to settle down with. Lots of fun.
When I don't have time to sit and focus on a mobile game, I'll bring out the Shortyz Crossword app or random Sudoku to keep me busy.
