Let's see if I can add pictures...... This first image is from Kyoto atop the Kyoto Tower from our trip in 2010. I used a FujiFilm HS20 'super zoom' camera to capture and then used Photoshop to create the tilt/shift effect to make it look like a model. Next one is the same trip from atop Himeji Castle. As noted I was in a tilt/shift mood when I got home XD Last tilt/shift from the series that I enjoyed doing was this picture taken in a Japanese garden. I believe this was on the grounds of Kyoto Gosho if memory serves me right. The Himeji one has always been my favorite but going back and looking at these, I'm kinda leaning toward the bridge one with it's vibrancy.

A wonderful picture of West Virginian night sky outside of the city lights with just a touch of galaxy showing Upon closer inspection I actually caught a dim shooting star or satelite crossing Attachments:

Man, that is gorgeous. Living in a big city makes it easy to forget what a real night sky looks like. Thanks for sharing.

Man, that is gorgeous. Living in a big city makes it easy to forget what a real night sky looks like. Thanks for sharing. Living in the Northern Virginia/DC area, yeah light pollution is a bitch. We took a small vacation to West Virginia and could only get the shots there lol. Locally, my night photography is more like this one where the light pollution kills any similar photos. This one is of Comet Neowise from our backyard. Attachments:

Are you using a special filter on a camera for the infrared? I've been wanting to play with filters but too cheap to go out and buy them lol
