I mentioned to cave on FB that i lamented this one. when stuff was just coming to the US and easily half of what we were getting was fan subbed anime (our initial copies of fushigi yuugi and lodoss war were fansubbed) we got the first tape of this one. but never saw any more of it.

it's one i wish i could find anywhere but just haven't had much luck

(wait...just found it on amazon, on dvd...at about 40 bucks per season...le sigh)

that is legit how luckdragn forced me to watch fushigi yuugi, one tape at a time...of course he's not insignificantly older than me so i didn't really have a choice, he was already in college while i was still in elementary school. so most of my introduction to anime was him sending me one tape at a time
