I always seem to be that guy that hasn't watched some classic anime (or other more recent masterpiece) that gets the strange looks (happens with classic real movies as well ) So what is a classic that people look at you and say, "You haven't watched *insert title*? My most common ones: Cowboy Bebop (I've gotten through a few episodes and the movie, but not all of it) Outlaw Star Gundam Wing Just a few to start with but I'm sure my list will grow as you post XD XD XD

You haven't truly watched Dragonball either, but I feel like a lot of us are guilty of that one. I'm finally in the 'watched it' cool kid crowd, you should join. Cowboy Bebop has always been my go-to with you. *tsk tsk*

I haven't watched Cowboy Bebop either. I tried once and expected to fall in love with it immediately, like I did with Samurai Champloo, and that didn't happen so I turned it off. Probably not fair to the anime but now it's stuck in the no-watch zone

A very interesting question. There's actually not much I haven't seen that I haven't avoided on purpose. I've been a weeb since 1985, and living in the SF bay area most of my life meant that I had access to a lot, so I've had the opportunity to watch basically anything even before digital fansubs became a thing. Every video rental store tended to have at least a modest selection, there's been a Kinokuniya in San Jose for ages, Japantown easily accessible in SF for access to imports, a thriving VHS fansub market, and even cable access channels played a lot of obscure stuff (KTEH in San Jose played subtitled Evangelion in 1997-98, which was pretty mind-blowing). There's a couple I can think of off the top of my head that I want to eventually watch, but haven't yet mostly due to their length: Monster, and Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
